Crivitz is an impact crater on Mars. It is named after the small town of Crivitz in western Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. The crater has a diameter of 6.1 kilometers and is located at 14.5 deg south and 174.7 deg east, within the larger crater Gusev.
The name was proposed by Stephan Gehrke in 2002, at the time a research associate of the TU Berlin working on cartographic software and a visiting researcher at the United States Geological Survey.
